Fortunately for us Kent did. His love for art grew and he took private lessons at the age of 10, continuing doing this thoughout his high school years. Later he attended college at Parson’s School of design in New York City, where he studied painting and graduated in 1984.


Kent has grown into a prominent and respected gay male artist, with representations in several galleries and private collections, and features in numerous books and gay publications, including Men, Mandate, Playguy, Honcho, Unzipped, Freshmen, Blueboy, InTouch, Torso and now also BeautifulMag. Recently he opened his first online print exhibition, which includes paintings that belong to private collectors and works sold through the Tom Of Finland Foundation.
